It felt like a giant day when I finally got my own school bag. It was red and had a cool picture/pictures of animals/my favorite cartoon character on it. My mom helped me fill it with all the things I needed for school, like pencils, notebooks, and a lunch box. When I put it on my back, it felt so heavy. I skipped all the way to school, excited to start my first day!
My friends had cool bags, too. Some were sparkly. We told each other about our bags during recess. I was so proud of my awesome school bag! It felt like the start of a great new adventure.
